Call for Proposals

The Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA) invites practitioners, researchers, and educators to submit their proposals and join the 57th annual conference on the theme of Embracing Regional Sustainability: Networks for People and Places.

The EDRA57 Amherst, MA Conference Committee invites you to submit your work and participate in the 2026 conference.

Submission Process

To begin a submission, click on the 'Begin a Submission' button under the submission type. You will be directed to EDRA where you will either:
Log in with your existing EDRA membership account
OR
Log in by creating a NEW member or non-member account

Once you have logged in/created a new account you will be redirected to this page where you may start a submission by selecting a submission type below.

  • Call for Submissions Deadline for all Program Types: Intensives, Paper Abstracts, Individual Presentations, Full Papers, Group Presentations (Workshops, Symposia, Researcher-Practitioner Collabs), Posters, and Digital Media Shorts.
  • Notification of acceptance for all submissions is anticipated expected by early February.
December 1, 2025
  • Early Bird registration opens.
January 11, 2025
  • Graduate Student Workshop Deadline
February 25, 2026
  • Final deadline for ALL conference presenters to register for the conference. For individual sessions, a minimum of one author or co-author of each accepted session must be registered.
  • For Group presentations (including Intensives), ALL presenters must be registered to be a part of the EDRA57 program.
May 1, 2026
  • Deadline to upload digital file of Poster and Digital Medial Shorts.
May 27-30, 2026
  • EDRA57 Conference in Amherst, Massachusetts, USA.
